I honestly think lesbians have it a lot easier sometimes.. Guys can be so hard to read.
I don't see why they think us women are confusing.. we tell them how we feel and what we want, where men seem to act like they don't care.. then when you do something they don't like they get really upset.. but how are you meant to know.. if they said they don't care?
this all makes perfect sense to me..
On other news.. i am going to be a ninja. I am also telepathic.. mmm...
My eyes change colour from Brown to green.. and hazel... is that normal?

Jessica and her rucksack. AUSTRALIA 2
So after the amazing time sailing around the Whitsundays i spent a few days in Airlie beach with the Clipper group. I love Airlie, its so beautiful. Alice and i spent most our time at the lagoon sunbathing and attempting to learn how to do kick-ups.. i still fail at that :(
I met up again with Sinead and Paul again and got a coach down to Agnes Water/1770. It was a night coach so the 9 hour journey went a bit quicker.
1770 is tiny and not really that interesting if i'm honest.. the reason we decided to go there was for the legendary Scooter ROO. and thank god we did it was so' much fun!!! I didn't even reverse it in to a shop or anything ;~)
We wore biker jackets and huge helmets and created a convoy. Driving all around Agnes waters. It was such a great day. Not much else to say about 1770, we spent the other night watching films and gorging ourselves on chocolate.. which is always nice. I'll show you just how ridiculous we looked..
After 1770 paul and i got a coach down to Rainbow Beach ready for our fraser island trip. I was so excited for this as i have been driving 4x4 trucks since i was about 17 haa. My dad had a few army trucks and we have always had great fun driving around the country and going off road in them. The fraser island tour is basically a camping trip where a group of 30/40 create a convoy of trucks and drive around the beaches on the island and camp for a few nights as well. We met up with Harriet, Chris, Matt and Dawn again. You don't realise how nice it is to see a familiar face after such a long time of travelling alone and meeting different people everywhere you go. You get really close with people quickly, they become your family and to see those people again was really comforting.
I loved it!!! Camping in this beautiful island with the dingos and the spiders was amazing!! At this point my ankle is still swollen and throbbing and i think at this time im starting to regret not going to a doctor about it.. but what can i do about it in the middle of nowhere! The evenings where unreal. We would cook some dinner on mini stoves play some drinking games, get nice and warm with goon and then walk down to the beach. I really regret taking my camera to the beach.. i got drunk one night and fell over landing on my camera lense down into the sand.. broken :( no more pictures of the fraser island trip from then on. I was gutted but at least all the other guys i was with where taking lots of pictures. In the days we drove around the beaches stopping at different lagoons and viewpoints. A few things we saw on the drive really shocked me. There was a huge turtle washed up on the shore which had had a huge chunk bitten out of it from a shark. There where also some beautifully bright jellyfish as well as a killer sea snake.. I got a little too close thinking it was dead.. turns out if it had bitten me..i would have died in seconds.. crazy thought..
Once we got back to the mainland (Rainbow Beach) we all went out in the evenings together around to the local pubs.. which where.. interesting. We got chucked out the first one so went back to Our hostel to play some table tennis
- not to self.. i should totally take up table tennis as a career.
I had taken my shoes off, as most travellers end up doing.. * you get so used to going everywhere bear foot it really is strange when you need to put shoes on let alone socks.. :S* I stood on a huge chunk of glass and sliced my foot open.. Im not one for getting squirmy about blood or anything but it was really disguising, like a horror movie i left blood footprints on the floor..i could actually feel the blood pulsing out my foot. I still one at table tennis though.. little proud of myself ;)
Im really glad our little family decided to carry on travelling together. We all got a coach down to noosa and stayed in a really sweet apartment. It was like friends... it was great, all living together, cooking together. It was really nice. We went to the cinema and saw Toystory 3d.. second time i had seen it so i didnt mind too much when i fell fast asleep. Cinemas in Australia are great! the seats are so comfortable! We also went out on a little day trip to the world famous Steve Irwin Zoo. It was such a great day, saw loads of animals, although it was a little strange seeing them behind cages when i was used to just seeing them roaming free in thailand/indonesia. Its sad to see them like that..
After noosa we split, which was really sad.. but i knew i would be seeing them again pretty soon!! Paul and I went to Surfers paradise and they met us there a few days later. Surfers paradise.. is really quite american. Skyscrapers all along one long beach. The highlight of our time there had to be when we all dressed up as Neon Geeks and went clubbing.. who knows why we did it.. but we did.. and we did it well.
From surfers we then went down to Byron Bay. My favourite place in australia by far. i loved it there!!! The night life was great at cheeky monkeys, the days where so much fun hiring bikes and cycling around. I even managed to find a doctor forking out a ridiculously expensive $70, took some blood and decided i was anaemic, i had an infection on my tongue from not eating properly, and i had torn a few ligaments in my ankle. GREAT.
One of my favourite days in byron would be when we went on the trip to Nimbin, where you basically buy weed and Cookies.. i opted for cookies.. slightly stupid of me.. they recommend half a cookie because they where strong but i had the half and decided i was being fucked with as nothing happened.. so i had three more and tripped out on the bus journey home. I was convinced Harriet was trying to kill me, her eyes where popping out of her head and she could read my thoughts.. but other than that it was a great day! we saw some beautiful waterfalls and forests.
So after around a week in Byron Bay we all went our separate ways. I was so sad saying goodbye to everyone, we had become a family and had all gotten really close.
I got a coach up to Brisbane and spent one night there before getting a plane to fiji!

Thespian.
It's that time of year, when i have to start learning audition pieces and carting myself off around the country to try my hardest to get in somewhere. So tiring...
I decided to do Alison from look back in anger and Phebe from As You Like It. Both really contrasting pieces and i'm happy with the emotional roller-coaster of the monologues i just wish i didn't have to put my self out there to get knocked down again. But hey... if this is my career choice i better get used to it.
check them out :)

Jessica and her rucksack. AUSTRALIA
my first plans when i started thinking about travelling didnt include oz at all.. i didnt think i would like it much. I thought it would be just like england. Man was i wrong. I love australia! infact i think i might migrate there when i grow a little wiser and wrinklyer.
I started off in Cairns and was planning to get a flight down to brisbane. Well i missed that flight!!
The best advice i can give to anyone who wants to travel. Dont make plans... just go with it.
So cairns was great fun! Met some really lovely girls. one who i then travelled around more of australia with, Sinead. Cairns was strange.. it was weird to be on the other side of the world.. i kind of forgot i was travelling and started feeling really at home. The hostel we stayed in had bed bugs which i was terrified of getting again! BEWARE! they get in allll your clothes and rucksack.
The nightlife in cairns was great!!!! i went to a club called giligans with a german girl called Julia who entered the wet t.shirt competition. I wish i had had the confidence to enter but wasnt really feeling it after stuffing my face at dinner. Plus i wasnt drunk enough! ( at this point i was yet to discover goon)
I booked a few tours including cape tribulation and snorkelling in the great barrier reef. Both incredible experiences, the fishies where huge! At this point i'm thinking myself as a pretty good swimmer, free diver and like to show off to anybody who will watch.. "mummy look look look" springs to mind. Cape tribulation was great as well we swam down a fresh water lake waterfall and drunk the water, it was so refreshing. and swimming down a waterfall is so much fun, took me a while to pluck up the courage to jump off the rocks but my theory was if the little 8 year olds could do it so could i!
After a few weeks in cairns i got a greyhound coach down to Magnetic Island, at the coach stop i met a guy called Paul. Little did i know we would become really close friends and travel through the whole of australia together. after the long coach journey chatting to paul and watching crap films of hannah montana we got the boat over to magnetic island. WOW is all i can say. The first night i was there they had everybody cross dressing, was so much fun. I will have you know i was a finalist :P yes i make a great man.. its so comfy having your hand down your pants!! This is where paul and i met Harriet Matt and Chris, who we would also travel through the rest of Australia with. It was such a great night and so much fun to see all these gorgeous boys dressed up in dresses and bikinis. what a sight!
Paul and i also met these two guys Tom and Sam who really took the cross dressing to another level wearing matching sailor outfits- which they already had packed :P
The next day the four of us hired a barbie car and drove around the island, what a beautiful place. We went on a Kuala walk where you are supposed to find lots of them in the trees, but i think we where talking too much because we only saw one.
I was really sad when i had to leave Paul and the other guys behind but the next stop was Airlie Beach!! Ready and rearing to get on the clipper boat to do my whitsundays sailing trip. for those of you who haven't done whitsundays.. the clipper is the BEST boat. its the party boat that holds 50 people ready to drink there own body weight in goon and jump into the sea from the on board boat. I met some great people on the boat, Mikey being the main one.. we got on really well and he was so cute! I also got really close with Alice, my little partner in crime! The whitsundays was amazing, seeing dolphins swim by the boat with spotlights shining on the sea, incredibly bright nights and 10 shooting starts in one evening!!
We drunk litres of goon and it showed when i ended up falling over and tearing a ligament in my ankle. BOY O BOY was that painful.. to this day i'm still pretty sure that i broke it. but i managed to carry on :P
Thats all for now!! I'll update you later x

Jessica and her rucksack. MALAYSIA
So my Boyfriend of two years came out to meet me in Phuket, we travelled across Thailand to Kuala Lumpur and Bali!
Kuala Lumpur was a lot bigger than we had expected! The day we got there we decided to go around the shopping centre whilst waiting for our hostel room to be ready.. BIG mistake. My huge rucksack rubbed my shoulders raw! The shopping centre was amazing though! It had a roller-coaster all around it.
We stayed a few nights in the city and made sure we visited the famous towers. They where beautiful, we went at night so all the lights where lit up. Gorgeous.
We also went to China town for a few days which was a hectic little town. Question, is there a china town in most cities?? I have been to so many now!
Bali! we stayed in Kuta which was awesome! a great night life and beautiful long beach!! We went on a few mini trips one of them was an amazing day on a boat, snorkelling and lots of swimming! Some of the fish are mental.. i'm pretty sure they could have eaten me! I tried teaching samuel to dive down to the seabed but he kept on floating up bless him! We stopped off at this beautiful hotel somewhere i have no idea where. The pool over looked the sea. It was like a picture in a magazine!
We also had a day trip to an elephant zoo and for the second time i got to ride on one! However this time was so much better, the elephant trainer had looked after his elephant since it was a few days old and genuinely loved her! We went around the forest which was beautiful and then in to the large pool which was a little scary. They then let us sit on eles neck whilst she did some tricks.. pretty hard to explain.. Picture time?
However lovely it was to have samuel out there we argued a lot and i felt we had grown distant.. i think that's when i knew it had to be over.. i just wanted to hold on for longer. we have now broken up but are staying friends, which i really love. He's a great guy.
I then met up again with a guy i had met back in Thaialnd. Andy and i get on really well and i was excited to see him again :) We met in Bali and got a boat across to the Gili islands. We stayed on Gili trewangan. AMAZING tinyy little island! There are no roads cars of engines over there! you cycle, walk or get horse and carriage everywhere. slightly like going back in time.. we thought it would be a bit quite at night but boy where we wrong.
The night life on this tiny little island was crazy. I tried shroomshakes for the first time here .. and had a very interesting night!
I loved the mini cinemas on the beach and watched plenty a films before hitting the Irish bar for a cheeky shake.
After a few days of doing nothing but sunbathing we wanted a bit of an adventure so we got a boat over to Lombok. Big mistake...
We where both running low on cash so we decided to hire a jeep drive ourselves across the island.. we also decided to sleep in the jeep at nights. OK so we could deal with the bites ( even though i wasn't taking malaria tablets) and we could deal with sleeping in old, hard seats that didn't move much.. what we didn't like much was when a group of guys tried to break in whilst we where sleeping.. was pretty terrifying having someone trying to open the door on you.. after that we decided to park the jeep in the town with lights so at least if anything happened there would be others to see it! eye witnesses... that's what we needed. Here is our home for the few days we managed it.

It was so much fun to drive though.. even if the headlights where ridiculously weak, the windscreen wiper fell off just as it started to pore it down.. there where no street lights OR street signs. LOVED IT. i love off roading and trucks and this was so much fun. Really made me miss my dad though as we normally do that kind of thing together. He would have loved it.
We then split paths as i went back to Bali to catch a flight to Singapore. I was only there two nights but managed to get a lot done! I went all around the shops with a stalker from Iraq who i managed to loose whilst trying clothes on in yet another shopping centre.. (and i wonder why my money ran out.. )
I then went to the Night safari zoo! which was so much fun :D I met a great girl from the hostel and we went around the zoo together. Singapore food is . welll.. interesting. we got these three puddings, one amazing. It had lychee type things floating in it.. others not so nice.. with sweetcorn type fillings and tofu.. blah.
The second day i was there a few of us from the hostel did a scooter tour. We went all around Sinapore on these old school scooters with bells. I loved it! We went to loads of temples, gardens, museums and shops.
Coming up next....... AUSTRALIA-FIJI-LA.
Jessica and her rucksack. THAILAND
I decided i;m too much like a "gap yah" kid and decided to talk about my travel experiences only when asked... sooo i guess I'll have a little ramble to get it off my chest for a while.
Thailand-
Bangkok That's right.. I went all the way to Bangkok in May (2010) on my own back when there was a huge war going on.. and yes, there was lots of smoke.. soldiers..and a curfew ( had to be inside by 8pm ) but it really wasn't that all that bad!

I travelled down from Bangkok to Surat Thani on the over night train.. little scary. I was on the top bunk and came very close to falling out a numerous amount of times..Managed to fit myself, my day sack and my rucksack all on the bed. impressive? no. cramped? yes.
Then from surat thani i got a boat over to Ko Phangan. FULL MOON PARTY. I loved it over there!!!! one of my favourite thai islands. We often hired out quods/mopeds to drive off road around the island. shockingly I was a rubbish quod driver.. long story short... i reversed it in to a shop. angry thai men are scary. Luckily i had a great guy there to drive around for me!
Full moon party was imense. Biggest beach party i can imagine ever going to. Crazy stuff.. obviously pulled an all nighter, finished off the morning swimming in the sea fully clothed/drunk/where people pee'd all that night. Because that's the classy lady that i am.
That morning, still drunk James and i got a boat over to Koh Saumi. Which, btw.. is boring more for the honey mooners. so a few days later we went over to Koh Tao to do a diving course. As i have asthma nowhere would insure me to dive so instead i did a free-diving course. I thought i would be crap buttt i'm happy with the 60.69 feet i went down. For any of you who don't know, free-diving is where you swim down as far as you can on one breath and then swim back up again.. i was best going feet first without flippers,, which does make it harder to get back up.. but hey i like a challenge.
After a few days on Koh Tao i was ready for a bigger town so we decided to go to Phuket... Now.. phuket is.. how do i put this.. interesting. Its hard to tell the female from the Lady boy over there. especially in the ping pong shows ( sex shows ) A MUST SEE. i loved it, not remotely sexual, unless your fetish involves birds/blades and ribbons coming out of an OLD ladies private parts!
I met a great group of people in a hostel there and decided to travel with them for a bit. we went to Koh Phi Phi.. it was like a smaller version of Koh Phangan if i am honest. By this time i was in bed doubled over as i had gotten salmonella from my favourite food.. pad thai ( haven't had it since ) There was an amazing reggae bar on the island where anybody can go in the ring and fight to win a bucket. ( in thailand you drink alcohol out of bucket... great things)
So after about ten days of throwing my guts up.. loosing a stone and feeling like crap i start to get out of bed! which is fun.. as i lost my tan and look ridiculously pale next to my travel mates. We head to krabi for a few nights of beach and shopping and fire dancing. Im loving my new skinny look but others are concerned i have an eating disorder. Bulimia. Redicuolous.. as everybody knew i had food poisoning. but.. some people are very naive you cant blame them can you.
That's pretty much is for thailand.. i head back to Phuket to meet my then boyfriend samuel to travel with him for a bit.. now this could get interesting!
